Battle Points and the Stack Icons

This card

The three BP boxes along the bottom each carry a small stack icon showing 1, 2 or 3 cards. They match the SINGLE, DOUBLE and TRIPLE states:

• SINGLE (1 card): 7,000 BP, for example when you set it straight from your hand as a new character.
• DOUBLE (2 cards): 12,000 BP, when it’s the top card of a two-card stack.
• TRIPLE (3 cards): 18,000 BP, when it’s the top card of a three-card stack.

A character’s BP is read from the topmost face-up card in its stack, using the value for its current state (Comprehensive Rules 8.1.1). To be on top of a stack it has to level up from a Level 2 ULTRAMAN (Comprehensive Rules 5.6.1). No QUAD value is printed.

How BP works

In the Judgement Phase, characters facing each other compare BP. Higher wins, lower loses (turned sideways), and a tie turns both sideways (Comprehensive Rules 5.9). BP is printed in SINGLE, DOUBLE, TRIPLE, QUAD order, and some cards have an EXTRA BP used under specific conditions (Comprehensive Rules 2.3.7, 8.1.2). Grade changes apply before flat “+X BP” changes (Comprehensive Rules 11.7.3).
